Professional Nursing Synthesis

Catalog description
This course integrates, synthesizes, and reflects on issues of professionalism, professional goals, and professional nursing practice informed through multiple ways of knowing, and experiences grounded in historical, literary, artistic, scientific, and technological perspectives. Issues relevant to contemporary nursing practice and current healthcare trends are explored. Notes: Three classroom hours per week Prerequisites: NURC 424 pre or corequisite and NURC 444 pre or corequisite; or NURC/NURS 300 prerequisite and NURC/NURS 444 pre or corequisite; Successful completion or concurrent enrollment in Junior composition Other Restrictions: Requires 45 earned credit hours or more at time of registration.
