Catalog description

An hour per week of class time. Includes study and performance of a cross-section of music from the repertory of the performance medium, development of technical skills, and instruction in reading music at sight. Additional performance requirements required. Repeatable for credit. Prerequisites: audition or satisfactory completion of four semesters of 276 prior to first enrollment, and passage of a qualifying jury for 400-level Individual Performance Study as applicable.
