Catalog description
An hour per week of class time. Includes study and performance of a cross-section of music from the repertory of the performance medium, development of technical skills, and instruction in reading music at sight. Prerequisites: audition or satisfactory completion of two semesters of MUS 178 and two semesters of MUS 274 prior to first enrollment, and passage of a qualifying jury for 400-level individual performance study as applicable. Note: Repeatable up to 8 credits.
