Catalog description

Philosophy, administration, and instruction for the school marching band program. Practical experience in show design and rehearsal techniques with the University Marching Band as a laboratory ensemble. Prerequisites: Successful completion of or concurrent enrollment in MUS 211 and MUS 213; concurrent enrollment in MUS 409; completion of 45 credits. Note: Two class hours a week. Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
