Catalog description
This course is the study of small woodwind padding and repair and is one of four courses with the overhaul of clarinets and flutes, progressing to an understanding of the skills required of a band instrument repair technician. It will be used as a means of acquiring job entry skils. The music industry has current and future needs for band instrument repair technicians, supervisors, and managers in retail stores and independently operated repair establishments. Corequisites: MUS 421, or permission of instructor
