Catalog description
This class extends the learning from MKTG 344 (Professional Selling) and involves selling in a real-world environment. This course is intended to facilitate your ability to: 1) manage and track prospective customers as you lead them through the sales pipeline toward becoming your customer 2) gain confidence when interacting with prospective customers and customers in a manner that exhibits professionalism and ethical principles, 3) accomplish sales tasks that are new, unfamiliar, and daunting so you can better succeed in dynamic sales situations, 4) gain an understanding about the psychology of social influence tactics that can be applied in various selling situations, 5) learn effective sales and communication strategies, and 6) integrate these learnings with your own experience to guide your efforts in a future career. Prerequisites: MKTG 344
