This course is designed to historically explore changes in farming following industrialization to meets the nutritional needs of a growing population, the political influence related to government nutritional guidelines, the social issues and economic impact through healthcare related to metabolic syndrome, and the ethical implications of determining solution. Prerequisite: Successful completion or concurrent enrollment in Junior Composition Other Restrictions: Requires 45 earned credit hours or more at time of registration.
