Catalog description
Student work as an assistant or staff specialist to geoscientists or environmental scientists in public and private organizations or agencies. Designed to provide the student with practical experiences. A written report is required of the student and a written evaluation by the employer must be made to the supervising faculty. Students are required to complete 200 hours of internship for 3 credits and 400 hours of internship for 6 credits Prerequisite: consent of discipline advisor. Repeatable: up to six credits.
