Catalog description

An advanced course in expository writing designed for students in the English Teaching curriculum. To provide experience with the kind of writing expected of secondary teachers, a variety of papers and projects are required, including recommendation letters, request memos, book critiques, and field-researched school profiles. Prerequisites: ENG 105 or 107 or 108 or 130, and the successful completion of 45 credits of course work. Note: Required of English Teaching majors. Satisfies English 305 requirement.
