Catalog description
Designed to expand an understanding of reading and language arts instruction in elementary classrooms with a focus on Grades 3-6. Reading 2 develops practices that support students' literacy learning and in planning, implementing, and assessing a meaningful literacy program in elementary classrooms. Offers an experience-based exploration of literacy education practices. Notes: Course may be retaken once in order to receive a passing grade Prerequisite: admission to BCP-I;.a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher; a C or better in ELED 290: Reading 1; and satisfactory in ELED 291: Inquiry into Teaching K-2 Corequisites: ELED 325
