Catalog description
Students examine the role of the elementary teacher and the philosophical and practical elements of effective teaching demonstrated through best practice. This course introduces students to multiple instructional strategies and allows students to reflect upon their ideal usage in the elementary classroom. *Required fieldwork provides opportunities for structured observations in educational settings. Notes: Enrollment by departmental permission only Notes: Course may only be repeated once in order to receive a passing grade
