Catalog description

Introduction to government finance. Study of public expenditures; debt management; various types of revenue, including public domain, fees, special assessments, and taxes. Theories and principles of taxation. Prerequisite: ECON 100 or 200 and 201; Successful completion or concurrent enrollment in Junior Composition. Other Restrictions: Requires 45 earned credit hours or more at time of registration. Undergraduate Core Curriculum: [Upper Division Integrative Electives]
