Catalog description

This course provides qualified students with the opportunity to earn course credit while gaining experience in work environments related to professional careers in Communication. Students are required to work a minimum of 240 hours at the internship for 3 credits, and a minimum of 480 hour at the internship for 6 credits. Notes: This course satisfies 3-6 hours of elective requirement in the major. Prerequisites: 2.75 cumulative major or minor Comm GPA; minimum 61 earned credits at time of registration for the course; instructor approved contract. Repeatable:Students may earn up to 12 credit hours as internships; however, a maximum of 6 credit hours will be accepted to meet elective requirements in the major.
