Catalog description

Overview of aviation safety topics across a broad spectrum to increase overall aviation safety as well as addressing accident survival preparation and planning. Topics will include safety management as a culture as well as Safety Management Systems designed to run an aviation safety program. Topics will include the role of federal and international agencies, NTSB accident reports and statistics, causes of accidents, accident prevention and accident survival. Prerequisite: Junior standing or consent of instructor.
