Catalog description

With the increasing push for process improvement and outcomes collection in health care athletic trainers need to engage in the collection of data in the clinic. Further, beyond the collection of these outcomes athletic trainers need to be able to analyze their findings and make decisions in their care to demonstrate value, increase efficiency, and improve patient-outcomes. At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to construct a well-designed practice-based research project and implement methods to collect data in their clinical experience. Notes: Must be admitted to Masters of Science in Athletic Training Program at Indiana State University. Prerequisites: ATTR 644, ATTR 636, ATTR 637
