Catalog description

A course in basic pathophysiological process associated with athletic injuries and illnesses. Major areas of study include acute and chronic inflammation, tissue repair and remodeling, common illnesses and congenital disorders, including diabetes, asthma, and epilepsy. Prerequisite: Physical Education 220 or BIO 241 and 241L; admittance into the professional component of the program through formal application or permission of instructor.
