Catalog description

A course covering the fundamentals of computer art allowing students to explore a range of techniques using a variety of industry standard software for content creation. The latest developments in the field of computer art will be discussed. This course is structured to increase students' understanding of digital media in artistic production, to improve students' ability to create works using computers and their peripheral devices, and to discuss the ways contemporary artists use technology in art. Prerequisites: ARTS 101 and 102
