Catalog description

This course provides the diagnostic reasoning skills which enables the family nurse practitioner to order and interpret appropriate clinical laboratory tests. Students apply these skills during clinical experiences throughout the family nurse practitioner curriculum for the management of chronic and acute illnesses. Note: one hour of didactic coursework each week.
