Catalog description
This course focuses on systematic health data collection, organization, documentation, and communication while distinguishing normal from pathological findings across the lifespan. Emphasizing a holistic approach, it examines developmental, familial, cultural, environmental, and nutritional factors influencing health. Clinical experiences provide opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world nursing practice. This course has 50 clinical hours required 3 credit hours (2 Lecture/1 Clinical) Prerequisites: APN 601, APN 605, APN 633 , BIO 633, and AHS 604 or EPSY 612 (or other approved statistical course substitutions) or consent of instructor.
