Catalog description

This course includes an investigation of the impact of nutrition on all stages of lifespan, from preconception and pregnancy through late adulthood. For every state of life, normal growth and development, nutrient needs, nutrition assessment and the most common nutritional deficiencies will be addressed. Prerequisites: AHS 201 or AHS 221 or permission of instructor.
