Catalog description

This course introduces the core technical skills and artistic concepts for producing creative short-form narrative films. Students learn the fundamentals of camera operation, lighting, sound design, editing, and preproduction planning and management. In addition to technical proficiency, students will focus on effective problem-solving strategies, creative collaboration, and aesthetics for effective storytelling on screen. Prerequisites: THE 170
