Catalog description
Explores the concepts of "accessibility" and “evidence-based practice” (EBP) in education. Includes identifying their origins and the underlying belief systems that govern current policy and practice for establishing evidence in special education, considering how in/accessibility is evident in current practice, and exploring the benefits and limitations of dominant and non-dominant perspectives on evidence in pedagogy. Also includes learning and applying at least two techniques to improve accessibility and universal design for learning (UDL) in practice.
