Catalogue Description: Examines how psychological, social, and biological factors influence health, illness, and healthcare. Topics include stress, behavior change, chronic illness, pain, and health disparities. Emphasizes diverse perspectives and equity in health psychology research and practice and evidence-based approaches to prevention and intervention across diverse populations. Prerequisite: Not for credit if earned credit in PSY 348.
