An interdisciplinary examination of the intersection of artificial intelligence and psychology. This course introduces students to the emerging interdisciplinary field that bridges artificial intelligence (AI) and psychology. Students will explore how concepts from AI are applied to clinical, cognitive, industrial/organizational, social and developmental psychology. The course emphasizes conceptual understanding, real-world applications, current debates, and ethical considerations, rather than technical programming skills. No prior programming experience or advanced statistical/machine learning training is provided or required for this course.
