Catalog description

A graduate-level course on the application of advanced mathematics used in physics. Topics will include tensors, vector spaces, eigenvalue problems, ordinary differential equations, Green’s functions, complex variable theory, complex analysis, and special functions, such as gamma functions, Bessel functions and Legendre functions, and group theory.
