Catalog description

We will consider law’s roles in sustaining and addressing racial injustice. We will assess theories of normative jurisprudence and the rule of law alongside critical theories that conceptualize legal rhetoric and institutions – from the police, to prosecutors, to prisons – as tools for the unjust consolidation of power.
