Introduction to Classical Chinese Philosophy, focusing on foundational texts, arguments, and ideas that first emerged in China’s Warring States Period, beginning in approximately 475 BCE and ending in 221 BCE. Important thinkers include Kongzi (Confucius), Mengzi (Mencius), Xunzi, Laozi, Zhunagzi, Mozi, and Han Feizi. Formerly PHI 289a39. Prerequisites: ENG 101 and COM 110
