Role of nurse as culturally sensitive caregiver explored while learning about health attitudes, beliefs, and practices of culturally and spiritually diverse populations. Prerequisites: BSC 181, COM 110, ENG 101, HSC 105 and one of the following: MAT 113, 120. Courses to be taken prior to or concurrently with NUR 237: BSC 160, 182; CHE 110 and 112, or 140; FCS 102; PSY 110, 213; and one of the following: ECO 138, POL 138, PSY 138, MQM 100, MAT 150, or concurrent registration.
