From the classical elegance of Haydn to the cinematic grandeur of John Williams, this course explores the orchestra as a dynamic medium of artistic expression and storytelling. Students will engage with symphonic music as both historical artifact and living art form, examining how orchestral works respond to cultural, political, and personal narratives.
