Catalog description

This course delves into the principles of material selection and design of machine elements. The curriculum integrates principles of design engineering with computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools for virtual prototyping and performance analysis. Students will gain hands-on experience in designing mechanical systems that are safe, functional, and manufacturable. Prerequisites: MEC 210, MEC 220
