Catalog description

This course bridges the gap between theoretical concepts of fluid mechanics and their practical implementation. Students will conduct experiments that validate theoretical models of fluid statics, fluid dynamics, Bernoulli’s theorem, losses in pipes, and hydrostatic pressure. They will gain proficiency in using flow meters, manometers, hydraulic benches, and visualization tools. Prerequisites: MEC 240 or concurrent registration
