Catalog description

Cloud computing has changed the way software applications are designed, developed, tested, and deployed. This course provides fundamental knowledge and understanding along with tools, techniques, and best practices. This course introduces students to modern software delivery pipelines with an emphasis on containerization and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). Students will learn the core technologies, tools, and practices used in delivering scalable, resilient, and automated cloud-native applications. By the end of the course, students will have built and deployed applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and popular CI/CD tools in cloud environments. Prerequisites: IT 178 OR IT 179.
