Survey of medical microbiology with emphasis on common pathogens. Included are taxonomy, identification, culture methods, procedures and antibiotic susceptibility testing. Lecture and lab. Prerequisites: GPA 2.5. Grade of C or better in BSC 160 or 260; and HSC 263.
