Power and Diversity in Modern America

Catalog description

This course will focus on diversity in modern US history, particularly the influence of power among various social groups in the US and how markers of difference--class, ability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, language and sexual orientation--interact in the formation, experiences, and transformations of individual actors and complex groups.
