Examines current scholarship and pedagogy for the teaching of writing at the secondary level; integrates theories of teaching writing with teaching practice that supports diverse writers. Includes Clinical Experiences: 15 hours, Type 1-5 and 9. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in ENG 243, 246, 296. Criminal Background Check required.
