Catalog description

Study of the rhetorical practices of scientific writing and the communication of scientific information to a range of audiences. Emphasis on science-informed public advocacy--its processes, genres, and applications. Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in ENG 101 or 145. Completion of 30 credit hours required, with at least one science course recommended.
