Catalog description

This course covers the hardware-centric design of digital systems using VHDL and programmable logic. The curriculum progresses from register-transfer level (RTL) modeling and finite-state machines to controller design with state machine charts, emphasizing the efficient use of FPGA resources. Practical verification through simulation and testbenches is integrated throughout the design process. Prerequisites: ELE 230
