Catalog description

Introduction to engineering practices and principles, including problem identification and solution approaches, conceptualization, design, analysis, modeling, simulation, experimentation, prototyping, production, engineering ethics, the human-society interface, the reciprocal sociocultural influences between engineering and societies, and information fluency. Topics are explored through discussion, activities, interactive lectures, reflections, written assignments, and team projects. Lecture and lab. Prerequisites: Not for credit if earned credit in EGR 120A01
