Catalog description

This course provides a hands-on approach toward using computers for creating, analyzing and understanding behavior of matter in various environments. Methods in computational chemistry based on quantum mechanics, molecular mechanics, dynamics will be introduced to study the behavior of matter of various sizes including atoms, molecules, solids, surfaces, and macro/biomolecules. Prerequisites: C or better in CHE 360
