This course provides a solid grounding in the modern & contemporary critical theories most relevant to the contemporary reception and interpretation of works of art. It is also designed to assist students in articulating the methodologies used to research artists and artworks across a range of cultures and historical eras. Prerequisites: Not for credit if earned credit in ART 311a04.
