Catalog description
This seminar course provides a solid grounding in the modern and contemporary critical theories most relevant to the contemporary reception and interpretation of works of art. It is also designed to assist students in articulating the methodologies used to research artists and artworks across a range of cultures and historical eras. Prerequisites: One of the following: ART 240, ART 241, ART 242, ART 244, ART 263, ART 264, ART 265, ART 266, ART 267, ART 279, ART 280, ART 283, ART 281, ART 290
