Catalog description

Examination of how anthropologists have looked at the topic of death from a multitude of perspectives. Students explore the importance of death to the field of anthropology and also use it as a lens to examine American attitudes toward and rituals surrounding death. Prerequisite: Not for credit if earned credit in ANT 353.
