Network Security I

Catalog description

Students will be provided with the foundational knowledge to understand, design, implement, and maintain security within a network infrastructure. Students will be able to employ the principles of network security through the study of the concepts of confidentiality, integrity, and availability as the foundation for analyzing threats, devising countermeasures, and protecting resources against attack. The course is designed to begin preparing the student for the CompTIA Security + examination.
