Catalog description

This hands-on course introduces students to fundamental skills and techniques used by wildlife professionals to study and manage wild populations. Topics may include: wildlife identification, survey techniques, GPS navigation and spatial data collection, population estimation, habitat assessment, wildlife capture, aging and sexing, and wildlife telemetry. The course will include one or more Saturday field trips.
