Therapeutic Exercise II

Catalog description

This course continues to build on the information students learned in PT 402 Therapeutic Exercise I. The foundational information learned in PT 402 related to principles of exercise and the expected responses and adaptations of clients and patients to different types of exercise intervention as well as the design, implementation and progression of therapeutic exercise programs will be applied to additional areas of the body. The course will be coordinated with PT507 Musculoskeletal II. In addition, advanced therapeutic exercise interventions will be learned in this course. The course will consist of a mix of didactic lectures and laboratory learning experiences. Prerequisite(s): PT 402 .
