Catalog description

This course will use a combination of didactic lectures, experiential active learning opportunities, small group discussions and team projects. An overarching goal is to give students the resources and tools to critically evaluate emerging practice areas related to wellness with emphasis on the unique contributions of occupational therapy to wellness. The importance and awareness of self-care through goal setting and journaling will promote critical thinking in support of emerging clinical reasoning.
