Chinese Culture and Language II

Catalog description

This Mandarin Chinese course is for students who have prior experience studying Chinese or have taken LC131. Students will further develop their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. References to Chinese history, culture, and business put the language into context. The relationship between Chinese language and culture and the social-linguistically appropriate use of language will be stressed throughout. Prerequisite(s): LC 131 .
