Catalog description

Fantasy Literature examines fantasy as a vehicle of cultural communication from the first fantasy novel of George MacDonald to contemporary fantasy, depending upon the instructor’s preference. The course may be a survey of fantasy, or a specific author may be chosen for study; and the texts may be short fiction, novels, plays, or a combination. Prerequisite(s): EH 124 or EH 105 .
