Catalog description

This course awards academic credit for participation in pre-approved professional development programs. These programs are designed to lead students in an exploration of leadership and their leadership capabilities. Throughout the programs, students are introduced to the study of leadership and are required to apply their leadership skills to group projects designed to bring positive change to the partner organizations with which they are working. Students must be a current or past member (2013 or later) of the Bangor Region Leadership Institute (BRLI) program, the Leadership Maine program, the Bangor Savings Bank Leadership Program, the Northern Light Health Professional and Organizational Development Program, or SHRM certification programs (CP and SCP). Additional programs may be added as approved.
