Catalog description

The focus of this course is on the legal dimensions of entrepreneurship. It helps prepare students to meet the legal and regulatory challenges and opportunities they can expect to encounter as entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and managers of private and public businesses. Topics include forms of business organization and ownership structure, protecting intellectual property, funding ventures, contracts, product liability, and managing human resources.
